Peniche has a diverse range of waves, from barreling Supertubos to gentle Baleal. Here's what board works best for each scenario:

Shortboard (for Supertubos & Molhe Leste)

If you're surfing Supertubos or Molhe Leste, bring a shortboard in the 5'8" to 6'4" range. Go for a slightly thicker and wider template for extra paddle power in the Atlantic swell. A rounded pin tail helps hold in hollow waves.
